Today i did a #roadtrip from Jakarta to Semarang.
Going on vacation in a private vehicle can be an option if you want to visit several places along the way and go with your family.When you bring your own vehicle, you don't have to worry about piling up luggage or having lots of shopping bags for souvenirs.
One of the tourist destinations that can be reached using a private vehicle from Jakarta is Semarang.
If you are a Jakarta resident who wants to go to Semarang or vice versa, there is a toll road that has been provided. The Jakarta-Semarang toll road is a route that is quite often used by Javanese people. The Jakarta-Semarang toll road is one of the Trans Java toll roads. This toll road is also included in the busiest toll road on the island of Java.
For those of you who are planning to go to Semarang and choose the toll road, it would be better to know the fare in advance.
1 Jakarta - Cikampek
The first section of the Jakarta-Semarang toll road is the Jakarta-Cikampek section with a total length of 72 km. For class I vehicles (sedans, jeeps, pick-ups, small trucks, and buses), the fare is IDR 20,000.
A little additional information, on the Jakarta-Cikampek section there are seven rest areas that you can stop by. The first rest area is at KM 19 A, then followed by KM 39 A, KM 62 B, KM 32 B, KM 33 A, KM 52 B, and KM 57 A. As for the duration of travel, driving on this toll road takes approximately 45 minutes.
2. Cikampek-Palimanan Section
Next is the Cikampek-Palimanan section with a length of 116.75 km. The Cikampek-Palimanan section is the longest toll road for travel from Jakarta to Semarang. The Jakarta-Semarang toll tariff on this section is Rp. 107,500 for class I vehicles.
Just like the Jakarta-Cikampek section, the Cikampek-Palimanan section also has several rest area points, namely at KM 86 A, KM 103 A, KM 86 B, and KM 130 B. The travel time required to pass this section is approximately 1, 5-2 hours if the current is smooth.
3. Palimanan-Kanci
After a long journey, the Palimanan-Kanci section is quite short, with a length of 26.3 km. To go through this toll road, you have to pay a tariff of Rp. 12,500.
Because the distance is quite short, the duration of the travel time required to go through this segment is not too long, only about 30 minutes. Users of the Palimanan-Kanci toll road section can rest at two rest area points, namely KM 207 A and KM 208+400 B.
4. Button-Pejagan Section
Similar to the Palimanan-Kanci segment, the Kanci-Pejagan segment is also quite short. The Kanci-Pejagan section with a length of 35 km stipulates the Jakarta-Semarang toll tariff of Rp. 29,500.

5. Pejagan-Pemalang Section
After going through the Kanci-Pejagan section, it means that you have entered the Central Java area. The Pejagan-Pemalang section has a length of 57.5 km at a rate of IDR 60,000.
The travel time required to pass this section under normal conditions and not hampered by traffic jams is around 45-60 minutes. The rest area is at KM 252 A, KM 275 A, and KM 287 A.
6. Pemalang-Batang Section
Next is the Pemalang-Batang segment. This toll road section has a length of 39.19 km with a Jakarta-Semarang toll rate of Rp. 39,000.
The travel time required to pass through the Pemalang-Batang toll road is about 30 minutes. Because it is quite short, this toll road only has one rest area at KM 33 A.
7. Batang-Semarang Section ( Kalikangkung Toll gate)
The last toll road section of the Jakarta-Semarang toll road is the Batang-Semarang section (Krapyak Interchange). This toll road section has a length of 75.6 km with a tariff of IDR 75,000.
At the end of this toll road, you can directly enter the city of Semarang or continue to Ahmad Yani Airport Semarang. Rest areas can be found at KM 379 A, KM 391 A, KM 429 A, and KM 389 B.
The details of the total Jakarta-Semarang toll tariff are as follows:
Jakarta-Cikampek : IDR 20,000
Cikampek-Palimanan : Rp107,500
Palimanan-Kanci : Rp12,500
Kanci-Pejagan : Rp29.500
Pejagan-Pemalang : IDR 60,000
Pemalang-Batang : Rp39,000
Batang-Semarang : IDR 75.000
Semarang ABC (within the city): IDR 5,500
#TOTAL : IDR 349,000
