We are talking with Council Member Peter Gilbert and company regarding the new senior center which will open soon in central Lincoln.

The location of the new Lincoln Senior Center will be on H Street, next door to the fire station. The modular building which will house the new senior center has had many purposes over the years, including an old teen center. At this time, it is being retrofitted to provide a location for Lincoln's seniors to enjoy a hot meal and great company each and every day, Monday through Friday, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

LISTEN IN to learn how an incredibly compassionate group of local citizens and city leaders came together to form a committee to spearhead this much needed program, and how the new center will impact our seniors in a positive way.
