"Amar sonar bangla ami tomay bhalobasi ..." is Bengali patriotic song written and set to music by Rabindranath Tagore. The first ten lines of the song was accepted as the National Anthem of the independent country Bangladesh in the year 1971.
A choral rendition of the song was performed by Bangladeshi artists Adity Mohsin, Anindita Chowdhury, Azizur Rahman, Biman Chandra Biswas, Bulbul Islam, Chandana Majumdar, Elora Ahmed Shukla, Fahim Hossain Chowdhury, Farida Parveen, Iffat Ara Dewan, Jannat-E-Ferdousi, Jhuma Khandaker, Khairul Anam Shakil, Kiron Chandra Roy, Laisa Ahmed Lisa, Masuda Nargis Anam, Mita Huq, Mohiuzzaman Chowdhury, Nasima Shaheen, Priyanka Gope, Shaheen Samad, Shaheed Kabir Palash, Shama Rahman, Sharmin Shathi Islam, Shemonty Monjari, Subir Nandi, Suma Rani Roy, Tania Mannan, Yasmin Mushtari, Yeakub Ali Khan as the opening number on the first day of the Bengal Classical Music Festival held in Dhaka on 27th November 2014.

Bengal Foundation has been promoting Bengali music for decades in order to nurture and uphold the musical traditions of Bengal.
