CBR650F Ohlins Shock Install

Описание к видео CBR650F Ohlins Shock Install

Here's a how-to video on a rear suspension upgrade on the 2014 Honda CBR 650F. Please please please consider subscribing: it helps small channels like me so much and I really appreciate it. (EXPAND for much more info...)

It's an Ohlins HO428 shock that I ordered from SportBikeTrackGear. I swapped it out partway through a valve adjustment (which is now successfully completed!). It looks and feels great, but the real test will be at my first track day this summer! I'm planning on doing the forks too, but I'm currently a little sidetracked by a Dodge van I'm working on, as well as a chicken coop renovation!

Less than 1% of the viewers of this video are subscribed to my channel, and I make many other how-to videos for the CBR650F!

I paid full price and have no relationship with and of the companies or vendors I mention.

EDIT: I have been asked about my settings. Ohlins set it up knowing that I am 185lbs plus 20lbs of gear, spend 70% commuting but wanted to prioritize track performance for the novice/intermediate level. I can see 20 grooves above the preload adjustment rings, and my rebound is set to 24/40 (counting from the left). I have no idea what spring length is in there, or if they are all the same. This has not yet been individually confirmed by a suspension expert, and I plan to do that once I do my forks to match.
