After blowing over the back pretty consistently the day before, Sugar launch was blowing like it was meant to for a day. A huge flock of gliders launched into strong and somewhat rowdy conditions, with some of us climbing up over 17000 feet high and flying to Abert Rim. I made it to the valley before the last crossing to the rim and felt low at 13000 feet after spending most of the flight at 15k. It took me almost an hour of boating around the valley before landing in an awesome field about 40 miles north of launch.
