JustAnswer Customer: I have a hotpoint htw240askws washing machine it will fill but will not agitate ,it sounds like it is going to start but then makes a clicking sound,for about 2 seconds then stops ,I set it to drain spin after that and it wont drain or spin

JustAnswer Customer: I took off pump and cleaned it out just to be sure that was not problem,then put it back on and tried again and still having same problem, I took off motor cover and looked at motor with machine plugged in and the mode shifter asm was engaging and in engaging wih pulley and then pulley spun one time for about a second and then nohing

JustAnswer Customer: No motor hum,after it fills it eventually starts to agitate for about 2 seconds and that is when the clicking happens
