EP. 24 | Strange two-night adventure in the SW section of the park | TOUGH ROUTES, 911 S.A.R MISSION

A last minute adventure to Algonquin with a crazy twist, as I got involved in a search a rescue operation to help some other campers who I bumped into.

Two-nights in the park, launching from Dagger Lake, which is listed as one of the remote access points (14b) in the park — I had never done one of these, so I didn’t know what to expect as far as the road or parking situation.

Rugged, ass-kicking portages.
A return to the lake where it all began.
A call to search and rescue!!!
