Speed freaks and Wangan Midnight fans, here is a special treat for you - the REAL Wangan underground street racing scene! Unfortunately the footage was taken after the top rank "Mid Night" racing team had disbanded due to a tragic accident, but that's not to say there aren't X-Mid-Night members featured in the video! 😉 Also featuring the legendary and fearless "Smokey" Nagata (who was banned from the Mid Night team for being reckless). Don't forget, without the Mid Night street racing team, the anime series "Wangan Midnight" that it is based off of would not even exist!! All drivers featured in this video are highly skilled and some of them have a history in the professional circuit racing scene as well. Among the high-horsepower purpose-built cars featured in this video, you will see R32, R33, R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R's and GTS-T's, FC & FD Mazda RX-7's, Toyota Supra Mk4's, and Smokey's extremely rare, customized Nissan V35 GT-R!
