Each year, more than 100 billion garments are made and around $450 billion worth of textiles are thrown away around the world. Our throwaway culture and the growth of fast fashion have had a tremendous impact on not only the environment but also comes at an unintended human cost. In this session, we’ll learn more about what makes the industry so unsustainable and what can be done to make the fashion supply chain more sustainable and equitable.
