Horseshoe Las Vegas is a casino hotel that opened in December 4, 1973 as the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. It was renamed Bally's Las Vegas in 1986. On December 15, 2022, Caesars Entertainment rebranded the property as Horseshoe Las Vegas. The Horseshoe has 2,056 room and it is home to Grand Bazaar shops, Ole Red, and Jack Binion's Steak. The Horseshoe is located in the central Strip next to Paris Las Vegas and across from the Bellagio Las Vegas. Ole Red is Blake Shelton's country music restaurant that opened on January 2024. Currently, the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP 2024) is going on at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. The $10 million grand prize Main Event goes on until July 17th. There were 10,112 entries this year with a $10,000 buy-in per player. Las Vegas is in midst of a record heat wave with an all-time record temperatures of 120°F (49°C) over the weekend.
