BART From Daly City to Millbrae - Full Section Ride (HD)

Experience a brand new ride on BART, as a 10-car Millbrae/Caltrain Station train departs the Daly City terminus for Millbrae Station on a gorgeous late weekday afternoon in the Bay Area.

Daly City is the last stop for all peninsula-bound trains coming from Fremont and Dublin/Pleasanton, plus Richmond on Saturdays, and also the first San Mateo County station for any train coming out of San Francisco. Millbrae, on the other hand, is the largest intermodal train station west of the Mississippi River, the southernmost stop on the peninsula, and the only BART stop with direct transfer access to Caltrain. For travelers heading to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) or Millbrae at any given time, Daly City is the final opportunity to board on Platform 3 a train bound for either of those termini.

Some appealing travel features on this trek to Millbrae include an aerial ride above and alongside Highway 101, passing by the Daly City maintenance yard near Colma Station, and zipping by SFO.

In total, BART's peninsula journey from Daly City to Millbrae (and vice versa) takes approximately 15-18 minutes. This is the first time this stretch of the transit system has been filmed, since the Millbrae and San Francisco International Airport extensions opened in Summer 2003.
