Instantly freeze water using electricity (Peltier effect)

Описание к видео Instantly freeze water using electricity (Peltier effect)

Interesting experiment in which I freeze a small amount of water almost instantly using a Peltier module. For this experiment I decided to cool the heatsink on the hot side of the module by immersing it in cold water, then using ice cubes to keep the water cold for as long as possible.
You should know that Peltier modules cool down on one side when the current passes through them, but on the other side they heat up a lot.

What is a Peltier module? 📙
A Peltier cooler, heater, or thermoelectric heat pump is a solid-state active heat pump which transfers heat from one side of the device to the other, with consumption of electrical energy, depending on the direction of the current. Such an instrument is also called a Peltier device, Peltier heat pump, Peltier cell, solid state refrigerator, or thermoelectric cooler.
