Join me on an exhilarating landscape photography journey as I tackle the challenge of harsh light while photographing a stunning series of waterfall cascades. Using exposure blending and focus stacking techniques, I manage to bring out the best in the scene, even in less-than-ideal conditions. With the help of ND grads and careful ISO adjustments, I tame the glare in the trees and ensure that every detail, from the bright highlights to the deep shadows, is captured beautifully.

The cascades themselves presented a fantastic opportunity to showcase the power of blending exposures. By carefully adjusting the settings, I was able to preserve the intricate details in the water while maintaining a balanced exposure across the entire image. Join me as I walk you through the process, sharing tips on how to handle tricky lighting conditions and create images that truly stand out.
