after not working on it for a while, another test of Quake with my custom/experimental C compiler on my experimental modified ISA (BJX1 / extended SH4), running inside of a custom CPU emulator.

performance of the generated code still falls a bit short of GCC targeting normal SH4, but the generated code is now "mostly sane" at least.

I had also been working some on a Verilog implementation of a CPU core for this ISA, but this is much less further along (and I still don't yet have an FPGA...).

performance and input responsiveness sort of go to crap when doing video capture (possibly because I have fallen back to GDI capture given WDM capture no longer works).
