Sounds of the Earth | 1 hour ambient fingerstyle guitar | James R. Thomas

As ever, inspired by the beauty that nature lays before us. I had pulled up in the van whilst exploring some more of England's Southern forests for what I assumed to be one evening and then marvelled, in the morning, at the beauty of these two entangling trees nearby where the trunks has grown together, dancing upwards, thick and abundant with life and greenery. I decided to stay the day, to talk, to have a 'conversation' with them, to use what they could tell me to speak, to tell a story, to express through the guitar what they wanted to say and that which I wished to say in return. This session is improvised around a chord structure that blossomed whilst spending time in this special place in nature and time.
