In this video I showcase a selection of items that can be used for making parrot toys that can easily be obtained from the dollar store! There are a ton of items that can be used/repurposed for parrot toys that are simple and effective.

As always, safety should be your main consideration whenever giving anything new to an animal. You want to make sure that the parts are sized appropriately, and made of materials that are safe for that animal. Remember to supervise an initial interaction with a new item, and remember that animals can still get into difficult situations with items they have had multiple times in the past.
