We all have our differences. We all have our weaknesses. We all have our own little flaws. We all don't sometimes like what others have to say. We bring ourselves down.

But that gives us the courage, the strength, to stand up for ourselves. To show the world what we're really made of, to look at others dead in the eye.

The past week has been horrible. I'll admit that right away. Tears have been shed, anger mounted, and love tested to the limit.

But by the end of all of that, after many conversations and much thinking, I realize that it isn't all about me. It shouldn't be all about me. I need to open up, step out of the box, give others a chance to speak up, instead of drown them out.

This doesn't just go for me, I'm sure everyone has been there before. And if you made it through, happy and not regretting a thing, congratulations. For those of you who are still in that tight spot, never give up. Don't even think about it. Just think of those things that are so important to you, think of others' feelings, and don't look back. Only forward.

My boyfriend and I will have been together for 2 straight years on the 28th. Which is the Monday after Thanksgiving. 2 years. And I'm still learning. We're both still learning.
