The Wasp Wing is being flown by Keith Sharon, of Sturgeon, Missouri. Charles Sharon, Kieth's father built the modified Rogallo glider back in 1976, flying it in from the mountains in Oregon.

When Keith moved to Missouri in 2000, he installed the twin engines on the glider. With 2.5 gallons of fuel on board he can fly for up to 90 minutes. The Wasp Wing weighs 115 pounds empty and flies between 17 and 30 mph, making it a true part 103 ultralight aircraft in the U.S.
