This video is intented to help Preserve The Best of The Past For The Future", Packard automobiles heve withstood the test of time in quality, durability and beauty. Once is a lifeline a specal occassion recognizes these attribates. This 1999 Packard Centennial Celebration is one such occasion. One of the highlights of this celebraion was the parade of hundreds of Packards, still running and displaying their beauty.

Every Packard that started in this parade is shown, as their proud owners and friends passed by, starting a Perkins park, winding through downtown Wanen, Ohio and ending at the Packard Park. You will see and hear the Number 1, 1899 car starting up and leadng the parade, Many details of Number One normally not seen are in this video.

This Parade of Packards is shown twice, Once from a right angle and once from a left angle. This was done to ensure that every car in this parade is seen. At times, some of the cars came down the parade route two abreast.
After the parade segments, you will be taken on a tour of the
highlights of Warren, Onio and see several landmarks that remind tas
of the history surrounding the Paakard Automobile Company.
And finally, you will be introduced to the permanent home of Packard memorabilia, the National Packard Museum at Warren, Ohio.
