For two days at the 2023 National Narrow Gauge Convention, the Colorado Railroad Museum ran special trains with the Rio Grande Southern 20, a Schenectady-built 4-6-0, and the Denver & Rio Grande Western 491, a Burnahm Shops 2-8-2. I went for the first of these days. You see shots of 20 attaching to her passenger train and running around the museum's half-mile loop, followed by 491 proceeding to her freight train and running some laps herself. Not shown--me smashing my head into the low-hanging light fixtures in the passenger car...oh, three times?
