Update: the game being played is Portal not Portal 2

It has been suggested that my MacBook Pro 2014 can output 4K at 60Hz over the DisplayPort...this is not what I understand from reading this: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT206587 but perhaps I'm wrong...however I'd rather have a 21:9 screen than a 4K one now after using it for a while, so I'm happy. When editing the video is only visible in a small window in the corner, so I never get to see it in 4K/UHD until it's finished....at which point I can watch it on my main UHD TV.
