In this video, I have highlighted the advantages and challenges of the Mudichur Omni Bus Terminus.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin inaugurated development projects worth ₹58.70 crore virtually, completed by the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA). Among these is a newly developed Omni Bus Parking Facility at Mudichur in Chengalpattu district, built at a cost of ₹42.70 crore.

Spread over five acres, the Mudichur parking facility is situated just 7 kilometers from the Kalaignar Centenary Bus Terminus in Kilambakkam. Designed to accommodate 150 buses, the facility also includes eateries and resting areas for passengers and drivers. This new facility aims to streamline the parking and movement of southbound Omni buses.

Additionally, a new bus terminus is under construction near Kuthambakkam, expected to be completed next year. Plans are also being explored for another Omni bus parking terminus in the same area.

The Chennai region already has several major bus terminuses, including Kilambakkam bus terminus, Koyambedu bus terminus, Broadway bus terminus, Chengalpattu bus terminus, Mahabalipuram bus terminus, and Thiruvallur bus terminus
