I got this Ginunting from Antique province. The Ginunting is one of the more popular Filipino fighting bolos. The Philippine Marines acknowledge it as their official fighting sword. It is light and easy to swing. The shape of the blade is patterned after the blade of scissors, thus the basis of its name. “Gunting” is Filipino for scissors.
