Hiking to the top of Sweden | Kebnekaise | Highest mountain in Sweden | 2021

In the middle of july 2021, me and a friend of mine hiked to the top of the tallest mountain in Sweden, currently 2096m*

After a 1500 km drive, we started hiking from Nikkaluokta mountain station. It's a 19 km hike to Kebnekaise mountain station. There we had to rest for one day because my knee more or less gave out on me on the way in.
Not all bad though, because the day we had planed to head up to the top was really foggy and the visibility at the summit would have been 0 meters. As you see in the video, we had near perfect conditions at the summit. (Yes, we made it)
The view was breathtaking

Both stations and the trails are very well kept. STF (Svenska turistföreningen) is doing and amazing job, providing great and friendly service!

*The top of Kebnekaise is a glacier that is slowly meltning due to global warming
