We are finding mostly limestone rocks and some minerals here at the beaches in Charlevoix, Michigan. Many of the rocks are quite pale with very few brightly colored rocks or minerals. Mostly fossils on the north side. We started at the end of Mercer Road in Charlevoix, then over to the end of Mount McSauba Road, then over to Michigan Beach, then to the north side of Fisherman’s Island State Park. Usually, we’re finding agate epidote, Unakite, feldspar, Jasper, Quartz, granite, gneiss, agates, and more. Finding Colorful Rocks is what we do. Exact locations are given every time!
