Helen Zahos volunteered overseas as a Nurse and a Paramedic helping some of the world’s most vulnerable people. She has volunteered in disaster responses such as the Philippines Typhoon Hyan and Nepal after the earthquake. Helen has also volunteered in Greece during the Syrian Refugee crisis and in Iraq during the conflict. Helen Zahos is a Nurse, Paramedic and Humanatarian nominated in the Social Responsibility category in the Greek International Women Awards (GIWA). Helen has dedicated herself in recent years to caring for the victims of some of the world’s most devastating humanitarian crises. Helen is currently working at the Gold Coast University Hospital, she remains active in assisting other volunteers wanting to go over to Greece and volunteer in refugee camps.
