If you have ever replaced or repaired the pedals of your bicycle you will have noticed that the threads of the pedals are different and can only fit in the crankarm threads of their respective side. This is necessary in order for the padels to not come loose while riding your bike.
In this short video I am explaining exactly what is causing this instance. The mechanism that is described is called mechanical precession.
