Camping's teaching around the end of the world came from a more allegorical understanding of scripture and identifying connections in the numbers of scripture. His insistence that the local churches were run by Satan really did a lot of damage, and next time we'll respond specifically to that issue.

Bryan and Matt have been friends for 10+ years, and every time they get together they’ve always found themselves discussing some religious topic or another. This podcast came out of lengthy discussions on our previous podcast Let’s Talk Church about how much we want to dig into more nitty-gritty details. So at lunch one day "Faith, Frauds and Falsehoods" was born.

This channel is entirely dedicated to examining and talking about various cults and religions. Our primary focus is on cults, both those no longer around and the ones still in existence. We want to look at just what it is that makes a cult, a cult. And we want to try to understand what it is about these phenomena that draws in other people so dramatically as to lead to events like Waco or Jonestown.
