Описание к видео How can I help my 4 year old who still wets his pull-ups at night sometimes?

It usually takes kids a while to potty train, in fact on average it's about six weeks. This is because kids don't usually take to it overnight and a lot of parents make the mistake of if their child is successful once at going in the toilet they declare anything after that an accident. But it is a process. Mostly because kids are likely to get the whole pee thing down during the day but it's a lot harder for them to learn how to stay dry at night. You mentioned that you have a four year old who is still wearing Pull-Ups at night and this is very typical and normal behavior. But sometimes Pull-Ups can actually be part of the problem. For some kids it works great and it's a great way to transition from a diaper to underwear at night but for others it backfires because their brain always feels like there is a safety net there and that it's okay to go. Maybe it would be best to just take the Pull-Ups off and be prepared with a mattress liner and extra underwear and jammies at night in case there is an accident. After this happens a few times most kids learn that they need to start getting up and going to the bathroom at night when they feel like their bladder is getting full. Try this and if that doesn't help then it would be time to talk to the pediatrician. Other basics, and you did mention that you've tried them, are just simply taking your child to the bathroom before he gets in bed and also limiting his fluid intake about two to three hours before bedtime to kind of decrease the chance that he'll need to go during the night. Good luck with everything and if you have other questions for me feel free to ask them on our Facebook page and recommend us to your friends and family too.
