This is Labor Day Weekend, the time we set aside to celebrate those who work every day to make our society function. In many ways, that is all of us! So thank you for all you do!

But we are reminded that there is a time for us just to stop, to surrender our plans and work and just be with the one who gives us life and purpose. This weekend, I hope you will find time to do just that.

I also hope being in worship Sunday will be a part. Our sermon is entitled, “An Ode to Work.” I’ve been working on it and look forward to sharing it with you!
