The BJP criticized the Congress, questioning if Rahul Gandhi would launch a 'vote-chori yatra' against his own MLA. One party leader stated, "It is time Rahul look inwards, then make a wide and baseless allegation against the BJP." In response, Karnataka's Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivkumar called the court's decision "surprising" but expressed confidence that Gowda would win again upon recounting, confirming the party will pursue its option to appeal.
