How to daisy chain a sea kayak tow rope

Описание к видео How to daisy chain a sea kayak tow rope

As a kayaking instructor I created this series of videos on knots to introduce members of our club, Sligo Kayak Club (Sligo, Ireland), and any anyone else who may be interested, to rope work.

This video will demonstrate how to daisy chain a sea kayaking tow rope.
A long tow rope is recommended for sea kayaking in rough conditions however a long line e.g. 14m, can be a pain to work with in calm conditions when you need to deploy and pack multiple times. A daisy chain allows you to reduce the working length of the tow line, yet deploy it to full length when required.
Please make sure to test this in calm conditions before taking it into rougher conditions!

Feedback, comments, questions are all welcomed.
Please excuse the quality of this one-take, recording!
