During the dry spell at the start of April, our Territory Manager, Rhodri Davies, visited Lincolnshire to set up a customer's new 6m MDSX mounted no-till drill and FT2200 front hopper. As part of the setup, we drilled only a small section of the field due to the very dry conditions. However, thanks to the precise seed placement and consistent closing, the MDSX achieved optimal seed-to-soil contact, resulting in even emergence!

The MDSX has been designed to offer all the benefits of our DSX technology in a lighter and more compact platform. The fully mounted MDSX utilizes the same seeding coulter as the DSX and will work in conjunction with the Horizon FT2200 front hopper or a customer’s existing front hopper.

Available in a wide variety of configurations, the MDSX is available as a 3m, 4m, 4.8m, 5m, 6m, 7.2m, 8m and 9m working width machine. It offers row spacings of 22cm and 25cm, and can support a range of other options including granular product and liquid nutrition application.
