What is it actually like living in Greenville, SC?

So you are thinking that you'd like to live in Greenville, SC. But, really, what is it like to actually live here? What are the parks like, what are the things to do, what about hospital systems and schools? Is there a place that I want to avoid on Saturdays because I'll get stuck in traffic? What is the nightlife like? Do I actually live in Greenville, or one of the suburbs?

There are a ton of people it seems relocating to the upstate, SC area and I would want to know and make sure that I was going to LOVE it here!
