This is my round 2 Semi-Final Run for the 2018 Mission Foods Australian Drone Nationals Freestyle Contest Held in Freemantle, Western Australia.

Wow what a nerve wrecking experience. Freestyle contests are even more crazy on the nerves than racing! My brain was freaking out that this was live streamed across the world to many freestyle junkies watching as it happened, judges nit picking & other contestants sitting behind me scrutinising my every move through their goggles, the spectators & none other than the one & only Joe Scully doing a live commentary on the performance over the PA & live stream.
My legs had gone to jelly & where shaking which really doesn't help as a stander & fingers seemed to almost lose all muscle memory. However I pushed through & managed a respectable result.

Out of 20 Freestyle pilots each putting their best tricks & flow forward to 90 seconds of two of their selected songs, on the Australian Drone Nationals race track. I placed 8th putting me in the Top 10 & qualifying for the Semi-finals finals. The semi-finals was same, process except had two minutes of each song to wow the judges.

I ended up placing 9th overall in the end, not what I had hoped to achieve but still very happy to have finished in the top 10 & get experience in what was my very first Freestyle competition.
