The Mazda CX3 was one of the first of a new batch of smaller subcompact utility vehicles including the Honda HR-V and Chevy Trax. The Mazda CX3 is based on the subcompact Mazda 2 platform and benefits from the great handling dynamics of the Skyactiv chassis and suspension. Rather small on the inside, this compact SUV has room for 5-passengers, however the rear seat is tight.
