Traditional Mead Recipe:

2.5 Pounds of Any Honey
2.5 Grams of Wine or Beer Yeast
2 - 3 Grams of Fermaid O or equivalent Yeast Nutrient
Water Up to 1 Gallon
-- Stabilize the Brew --
1/2 lb of Honey to Backsweeten

Steps to make a mead:

1.) Sanitize everything extremely well!
2.) Mix your ingredients
3.) Take a gravity reading and write it down
4.) Pitch your yeast into the mead and store in a place to start fermenting
Fermentation should take 14 - 20 days
5.) Check your gravity and rack when it's done fermenting
6.) Optional - Stabilize and Backsweeten if you want it sweeter
7.) Bottling time!
