Note: These 5 main elevators were built in 1930 as manual KONE gated elevators. There were elevator girls operating them before 1982, when they were automated and completely rebuilt with classic fixtures (automatic doors & gray bumpers, lamp floor indicators and white buttons). In 2002, there was a day when the elevator girls appeared.
In 2005, the elevators were completely rebuilt again (KONE Minispace) and an 8th floor was added (originally, the 7th floor was the top floor). In 2010, when the Stockmann department store celebrated its 150-year anniversary, elevator girls appeared for one day again.
