It's been a long time coming. THE KINGS ARE BACK.
When I heard Bigbang was making a comeback, I knew I had to make a cover. I've been singing for as long as I can remember. And Bigbang has been a big part of my reason for choosing music. Every time I feel discouraged from pursuing my passion, I look back to a footage of me singing at Taeyang's White Night concert in LA. I look back to the words of encouragement he said, the cheers from the audience who had no idea who I was, and the way that whole experienced unfolded, from a YouTube video I posted sitting in my bedroom. I look back at the hesitations in life and the "to heck with it! I'm doing this!" and know that everything serves a purpose. And everything leads you to the path your heart desires. Now I can say I finally listened. As of a week ago, I am now a full time musician. I quit my day job, packed up my bags and moved 800 miles away from home. Am I sure? I don't know. But I am sure I love this too much to let go. I'm so grateful for my family, friends, coworkers, collaborators and mentors who believed. I'm grateful for the artists who have inspired me. Mostly, I'm thankful for you. For listening. I'm starting over. It's going to be wild. Here we go!
