Machina Bristronica ‪@Elevator-Sound‬
This is a large synth festival based in Bristol with lots of new tech on display, lots of talks and lots of cool things to play with.

The festival features a ‪@DivKid‬ stage which is really interesting as over the two day DivKid interviews a range of performers and venders.

It also featured some interviews by ‪@mylarmelodies‬I managed to watch two of these. The Past, Present and Future of Eurorack with Dieter Doepfer and Holger Zapf. This was a really interesting history of how Eurorack as we know it was shaped.
There was also a talk with Dave Rossum of Emu - Once more this was really cool hearing how the synth world was quiet small and how technology and people pushed the technology and how that made and shaped the music.

‪@NovationTV‬ had one of the best stands - the lighting and display was amazing - also I got some free stickers!

One thing that was really good was the regular live performances during the day. ‪@LOOKMUMNOCOMPUTER‬ Put on a show - taking requests from the crowd - check his channel for the audio. But it was amazing seeing his setup and watching him use it. I always assume Eurorack is slow to setup and modify - but I was proven wrong.

‪@Hainbach‬ played a live set with some tape loops - these were really long and setup to run across the performance space. Once more it was really good seeing up close how the equipment is used to the create a range of soundscapes.

‪@hinakoomori‬ one thing I did enjoy as the range of performer styles - Hinako Omori played a set and I really felt inspired by the distorted drums and rhythms she creates.

‪@anthonyrothercom‬ really got the place moving!

There was also a main hall full of venders - this was very Eurorack orientated but still had a range of other products too. I am still feeling my way around Eurorack.

@oakamicro - These has a test stand to use the contact microphones - this was lots of bit of metal you could hit which has summed up my last few years with electric pianos.

orgeldream ‪@leadtowill‬This stall had some interesting little instruments, a mini guitar with no frets - a tree of saw blades that when hit sound like bells. It was really fun talking to the people behind the brand here.

‪@patchingpanda‬ Once more it was fun chatting to the people behind the brand and i really enjoyed the drum modular synths. Well worth considering if you are looking.

Any finally ‪@enjoyelectronics6070‬ Godfather modular - this seems like the missing puzzle piece from the moog range - A must have!

There were lots I haven't included but that's why you need to go to these places. I hope to go against next year - but it is a good distance from where I live.
