Music Monday Episode 20: In this episode we celebrate music by teaching the children the lyrics and movements to a new Mimi’s Playtime song that does just that!

Gabi teaches the children the movements to the chorus while Mimi teaches the children the lyrics some of which are musical terms learnt in previous Music Monday episodes. This song will be available to stream on Spotify and other music streaming platforms soon!


Things you can do at home

Learn the lyrics and the movements to the chorus of the song
For an extra challenge learn all the lyrics and talk about their meaning and what the song is saying about music.


When You Listen With You Heart

Verse 1:

Open your heart and listen
And you will feel the rhythm
A song for a day or a lifetime
There’s a thousand stories music can tell

Stamp to the beat of the forest
Where showers of rain sing in chorus
Clap to the sound of the jungle
