In the now-viral video, a huge Sambal deer can be seen roaming around a roadside food stall in Kerala. It didn't harm anyone and was peacefully checking out its surroundings. A man standing near the stall offered the deer some snacks. The animal was reluctant at first but then proceeded towards eating the food from the man's hand.

"Just saw this in my #signalwonderbox. Wild Sambar deer, which seems to be a discriminating foodie. Comes in from the forest for a daily shopping & sampling tour. Peaceful coexistence but I hope it won’t make him a lazy natural forager?" reads the caption of the post.
