I stumbled upon this baby on YouTube about a month ago and was instantly captivated. He reminds me of Mark Chesnutt, but he surely has his own distinctive features. I’ve never heard of him before because I avoid MSM (Mainstream Media), which is full of fake news and fake country music. I spent almost my entire life in a megacity, but I fell in love with country music back in the 1990s when country was country. Over the years, I kept meeting globalists and liberals. Back then, whenever I mentioned my love for country music, most of them didn’t respond out of politeness. But judging by their facial expressions, I could tell how much they HATED country music, LOL. Somehow, I ended up in the DFW area lately, so I started a journey of a Honky-tonk dream.
Before this concert, I had just gone through the most traumatic, life-threatening, and darkest moments in my life. A lot of attitudes, anal retentiveness, and pretentiousness from those low lives out there.
Fun fact: While waiting in line to board, a guy behind me asked if I’d been to a concert. I told him about how I got the drumstick. He shared that he got a stick from a famous hard rock band in the 1990s—the band threw it all the way to his balcony seat. I added that the drummer refused to sign a girl’s boot which another band member did. She got turned down a few times, so she finally said, “Motherfcuker,” and walked away. Guy: “He said ‘motherfcuker’ in my case.” LOL. Yeah, 💩 to all those motherfcukerrrrrs in the cesspool that night!
With only a couple of hours of sleep and two meals in straight 72 hours and a low mood, I stepped into Billy Bob’s. It was Sunday night, and I settled into my favorite reserved seat next to the empty dance floor. Two couples slid onto the hardwood floor when the DJ played “Stars Over Texas” by Tracy Lawrence, and my mood lifted a bit. I knew it would be a good concert, but I felt so depleted and wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy it.
Given the fact that I was from a megacity, I hate crowds. But that night, it wasn’t overcrowded. There was just the right amount of people who had great taste in real country music to give out heartfelt screams. I set my phone holder on the table so I could sit however I wanted. I rested my arm on the table and my head on my arm because I was so tired. Wow, when the band struck the first note, I was instantly excited. My kind of music, place, style and demeanor. Everything felt so right. I screamed, clapped, and moved to the music all the way, sometimes singing along.
After this concert, I must acknowledge that Jake Worthington is the King of county. World-class steel man Adam Goodale has become my new favorite steel guitar player, alongside Paul Franklin.
I cannot reiterate enough that there was not a single noise at this concert. In order for a HIGHLIGHT to be meaningful, I have to raise the criteria very high for each song.

Ah~ Dallas, is that true? From what I've seen, it's true, it's full of rednecks and quasi-rednecks. Mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive. I'm honored to be one of them.

The steel guitar cut right through my heart, and my tears even welled up for a while during the first verse. The singer was at his prime, the whole setting was perfect, and the experience at Billy Bob’s was absolutely immersive. Nothing could have been better. When I woke up the next morning, I realized my honky-tonk dream had actually been fulfilled. Thank you, Jake Worthington, Adam Goodale, the band, and Billy Bob’s!
