Some public sector unions have agreed to return to the negotiation table and put on hold the strike led by Nehawu. The mass action which began over a week ago saw healthcare services disrupted at various facilities across the country. The unions are demanding a 10% wage increase while the government is offering 4.7%. Ayanda Nyathi speaks to Nehawu president Mike Shingange.
