Otis/Schindler Traction High Rise Elevators at Commerce Court North, Toronto ON

(Filmed on November 28, 2024). These are the high rise elevators that serve floors 11 - 32 or 11 - 29 at Commerce Court North here in Downtown Toronto ON. A high rise historical office tower in the Downtown area of Toronto. This is by the way an updated take of these elevators since they got recently modernized. This elevator lobby is still very amazing and gorgeous but you will need to know the interior design of these elevators. These were former Otis Signal Control from the early 1930s but received few modernizations including what happened to these elevators just recently. The first mod occurred in the 1970s and the second one occurred in the 2000s with the Series 2 fixtures. The this recent mod was done by Schindler between 2023 - 2024 with the changed door tracks, new analog floor indicators and MAD BS Moon fixtures. The call buttons are still original. I do like the doors on the interior of the elevators. They completely redesigned them as well as the cab interior design. I do like the golden car operating panel. These do run smoothly and they run very nice.
