St. Maarten was so nice, we did it twice. The second time, though, we included a side quest to St. Barts (SBH) for the day for more avgeek-related fun.

You've seen the famous diving approach to SBH, but have you seen it from the right seat? Thanks to the wonders of small-plane airline flying, I had the chance to ride in the right seat on a Winair Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander on a flight which arrived before it was supposed to depart. (And, given how short the flight is, this is an almost-full flight video.)

The BN-2 was one of two types Winair operated in November 2005, when this was filmed. You'll see the other, the DeHavilland Dash-6 Twin Otter, on the return flight in an upcoming video.
