Rome Colosseum and Underground plus Roman Forum

Well it's Day 2 and our last day in Rome before embarking on our Mediterranean Cruise. And what better way to spend it than a full blown skip-the-line Tour of Colosseum and the Underground catacombs, as well as Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.
We were part of a "Get Your Guide" special access tour and it was incredible!
A truly awesome group tour with a VERY knowledgeable Guide, on a day that turned into Rome's hottest of the summer. 38deg C outside and 40deg C inside Colosseum.
And although the sweltering temperatures took a toll, nothing could prepare me for the absolute breathtaking spectacle of this iconic and ancient wonder.
So come along and join me as I tread where Gladiators fought, where wild animals were housed and where Emperors decided the fate of so many...
