A processing workflow in Siril & GIMP with Astro Cam images

Описание к видео A processing workflow in Siril & GIMP with Astro Cam images

Some of you know that I got a full astro rig in May at the beginning of perpetual twilight where I live. I have now adopted a work flow with Siril & GIMP to process those images.
This is mostly about understanding how to use Siril's default directory structure to set up for stacking with astro fits files. I also demonstrate image preprocessing & stretching in Siril, followed by a basic post processing flow in GIMP. At the end I also demonstrate the subject of my next series, frequency separation, at it can relate to astrophotography.
This video assumes you have a working knowledge of Siril or have watched my prior videos about it. It uses scripts I have written and published on Google Drive for anybody to use.
The image I chose for this video was captured last night as the clouds rolled in. So it is only 33 minutes of integration. I wanted to show how even that can become an image.
The scripts referred to in this video (and others, with a readme for explanation,) are available at
https://drive.google.com/drive/folder...
I made a couple of mistakes in the workflow, like forgetting to restore the star layer to full opacity, but the important parts remain.
Regards!
