"Saving Private Li-ion" - Reviving a under-voltage (close to Zero Volt) Li-ion battery

A documentary video showing the process of reviving a under-voltage (close to Zero Volt) Li-ion battery using a Cadex Battery Analyser with Boast Function.

The dead Li-ion cell is a newly purchased unit, but arrived dead upon arrival shipment with close to zero volt.

A Universal Li-ion charger simply cannot detect and charge the dead battery, as the internal protection-circuit blocks any current from flowing into and out of the battery.

After being processed by the Cadex boast function, the Universal charger immediately recognises the Li-ion cell and begins the charge process. Normal charging process can continue.

NOTE: The calibration process on station #2 was shown for demonstration purpose only. Calibration on station #1 has already been performed prior to making this recording.

Q: How do I get access to a Cadex C7200 if I do not own one?

A: Kindly approach your nearest mobile phone retailer service centre. Most cellular shop will have one of these Cadex unit in their shop to help you to revive a Li-ion cell in sleep mode. Don't give up just yet!
