Keio Donca Matic DE-11 vintage drum machine

Описание к видео Keio Donca Matic DE-11 vintage drum machine

Very rare vintage drum unit, the Keio Donca Matic DE-11. This unit is believed to be the first fully transistor based Donca Matic released, mid 1960s by Keio which later became Korg. This large rhythm unit has a full speaker amplifier section contained within the casing, and also has an input for a foot pedal and an external jack for an amplifier. Has sixteen onboard preset rhythms, so probably should have been called the DE-16. Possibly the only one left in the World, and I have it!

This vintage rhythm unit and 300 others feature in the recently released book RHYTHM MACHINES - The Rise and Fall of The Presets, by ALEX GRAHAM which is now out on Amazon.com at US$32.99 and Amazon.co.uk for 25 GBP or 30 Euros.

RHYTHM MACHINES 2 - The 1980s Drum Computers by ALEX GRAHAM is also available, released in August 2018, covering the Linns, E-Mu, Roland, MXR, Sound Masters, and many many more. The most complete and comprehensive book on 1980s drum machines ever released. Includes several prototypes that never made it into production.
OUT NOW on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk.

Also available is RHYTHM MACHINES 3 - From Decline To Retro Designs by author ALEX GRAHAM, on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk and most other Amazon sites.
